Maps and Destinations

Uncategorized Jul 21, 2018

I have a wonderful friend with whom I recently took a road trip. She is a very trusting person. I on the other hand like to have a more hands in the middle of things approach.  While she determined to totally trust the GPA system I like to have a general idea of where I am going and then let the GPA get me there. On a segment of the trip I had not consulted the map and was quite uncomfortable with the direction we were going.

That trip circled back in my thoughts today and I considered how true that is of people in general. Most of us are trusting folks and choose to trust the ways we have been brought up. Not so much with me. I was never fully on board unless I could understand why, what, when etc. As a child I know I drove the Nuns a bit nuts in my catholic school. Eventually the Roman Catholic Church and I parted ways and I went on to Unity, Methodist, Baptist, Assemble of God and non-denominational. But I had a problem, just like the map in my mind did not match up with the GPS I could never get comfortable in any organized church environment.

My road trip friend has been with me through all these attempts to fit into the conventional, traditional ways of serving the creator. My problem was; what I read in the Scripture of Truth was not what I was hearing or seeing lived out in the different organizations. She has always been patient with me. I am quite sure she thought I would come around some day and even prayed to that end.

Have you ever heard something in your weekly service that didn’t quite match up with what you read in your Scripture of Truth? If not, I have to ask; Are you reading your Scripture of Truth? Or are you just trusting the GPS (the programed church) without checking your map (the Scripture of Truth)?

Yahusha said it this way; Matt 15:3 …:  “Why do you also transgress the command of Alahim because of your traditions?”

Are you so comfortable with the traditions of the “church” and even your family, that you do not question the differences you pick up between the Word of Yahuah and the teaching and activities to experience in your local congregation?

I want to share one tradition that is a lie and then I will share a couple of resources that you can explore if you choose.

First is; Shemoth (Exodus) 3:13 -15

And Mosheh said to Alahim, “See, when I come to the children of Yisharal and say to them, ‘the Alahim of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His Name?’. what shall I say to them?”

AHAYAH ASHER AHAYAH (I WILL BE WHO I WILL BE).  And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Yisharal,

"Yahuah has sent me to you." And Alahim further said to Mosheh, “Thus you are to say to the children of Yisharal, ‘Yahuah Alahim of your fathers and Alahim of Abrahim, the Alahim of Yitshaq, and the Alahim of YaAqob, has sent me to you. This is My Name foreverand this is My remembrance to all generations. ‘

Why then do we call Him “G-o-d”. Because we have accepted tradition of using a generic term for a super human being. Do you know what that tradition is based on?

Second, let me show you where you can find the answer for yourself.

Please, stop ignoring the things in organized religions that are not matching what you are reading in the Scripture of Truth. I was uncomfortable with the way the GPS was guiding us because I believed what I always thought from my youth, that Destin Florida was East of Panama City and I could not understand why the GPS was taking us into Alabama. When I looked at the truth of the map I discovered that Destin Florida was east of Alabama way before Panama City. Not only did I discover that truth, I also found that our destination beach was actually just east of Pensacola which very close to the Alabama state line. Does your destination of eternal life with Yahuah match the teachings and traditions that are guiding you?
